Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork that uses localized finger pressure in a rhythmic sequence on acupuncture meridians. It is grounded in Chinese medicine and in Zen philosophy. The ideogram literally translated means: shi = finger / fingers atsu = pressure / to press. Stress, physical and psychological trauma can change or prevent the free flow of Ki and thus affect our well-being. The application of pressure along the energy lines as well as stretching and rotation techniques help relax tense muscles, loosen the joints and realign the body structure.
Benefits shiatsu treatment gives the recipient a feeling of relaxation and at the same time a healthy stimulation that promotes the capacity of self-healing. The specific touch of Shiatsu supports the vital energy in its flow, helps to harmonize imbalances, acts in depth on all levels (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) and allows you to get in touch with your inner resources.
